അയര്‍ലണ്ടില്‍ പ്രായമായവരെയോ രോഗികളെയോ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനായി മാത്രം ജീവിതം മാറ്റിവച്ചവര്‍ക്കായി അയര്‍ലണ്ട് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നല്‍കുന്ന സാമൂഹ്യസുരക്ഷാ ഗ്രാന്റ് ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ അര്‍ഹതപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കൈകളില്‍ എത്തും ഗ്രാന്റ് തുകയായ 1850 യൂറോ ജൂണ്‍ ഒന്നിന് തന്നെ അക്കൗണ്ടുകളില്‍ എത്തുമെന്നാണ് അധികൃതര്‍ അറിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഇത്തവണ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ആളുകളാണ് ഗ്രാന്റിന് അര്‍ഹരായിരിക്കുന്നത്. ശാരിക വൈകല്ല്യങ്ങളുള്ളവരയോ , പ്രായമായവരേയൊ ഗുരുതര രോഗം ബാധിച്ചവരേയൊ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കാണ് പ്രതിവര്‍ഷം ഈ ആനുകൂല്ല്യം ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. ഒന്നിലധികം ആളുകളെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നവരുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ഓരോരുത്തര്‍ക്കും പ്രത്യേകം ലഭിക്കും.
കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷമാണ് ഗ്രാന്റ് 1850 ആക്കി ഉയര്‍ത്തിയത്. ഗ്രാന്റ് ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ താഴെ പറയുന്നു.
- Aged 16 or over
- Ordinarily resident in Ireland
- Caring for the person on a full-time basis
- Caring for the person for at least 6 months – this period must include the first Thursday in June
- Living with the person being cared for (or if you don’t live with them the person person must be able to contact you quickly and directly)
During this 6 month caring period, you cannot: - Work more than 18.5 hours per week as an employee or self-employment
- Take part in an education or training course for more than 18.5 hours a week
- Get Jobseeker’s Allowance or Jobseeker’s Benefit
- Sign on for credited contributions
- Live in a hospital, convalescent home or similar institution

നിലവില്‍ കെയറേഴ്‌സ് അലവന്‍സോ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഡോമിലിസറി കെയര്‍ അലവന്‍സോ ലഭിക്കുന്നവരാണെങ്കില്‍ ഈ ആനകൂല്ല്യം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനായി നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രത്യേകമായി ഒന്നും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ ഇവയൊന്നും ലഭിക്കാത്തവരും മുകളില്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന മാനദണ്ഡപ്രകാരം ആനുകൂല്ല്യം ലഭിക്കാന്‍ അര്‍ഹരുമാണെങ്കില്‍ താഴെ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ലിങ്കില്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് അപേക്ഷിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.
